day 3

wrote the HVAC midterm today. came out of it feeling shitty, having gotten only 80% (as opposed to mechanical physics; 95%. yay, me.) and feeling like the test was entirely unfair, as it dealt with plenty of material the instructor didn't seem to feel was important to cover, and asked a lot of poorly worded questions.
it also seemed unreasonable to receive the same questions multiple times on the test, though since i only got 2 repeats, i suppose i should count myself lucky - some people had the same question repeated as many as five times. methinks this whole computer-centre testing system needs a little work. anyway...
chatting with classmates at lunch, it seems i had one of the higher marks in the class, with the highest at 85%. yeah... i guess if you adjust the curve i did fine, but it still bugs me. after all, i'm determined to be on scholarship by january, and i need better grades than this to do it. i also think this instructor needs to rethink his approach, as it seems quite a few people failed.
instrumentation tomorrow, and math friday - both should be pretty straightforward, and if i get 100 i shall be all happy and gloat-y and smug...
i'm still glowing from the Molly show. seriously. too good. perhaps in the future, when i have the discretionary income i shall become accustomed to, i'll hop over the pond for a few months and follow them on tour - after all, it's gotta be way easier to be a groupie when you're in such a limited geographical area, right?

mmmm, groupie-dom. and i could follow KFMDM (MMMMMMM, Sascha) and Rammstein too. and the Legendary Pink Dots. yep, that's it. over the pond - a few months on the islands, then over to the mainland. then maybe buy a dirt bike and tour into africa.

i love making big plans - if you're gonna dream, dream big. it's more fun.
